Alternatively, it’s often best to call in to collect it – that way we can book you in to start your instruction course straight away.

We have individual, family and concessionary membership plans available. You must join as a probationary member and will become a full member after six months. When your probationary period ends you can apply to your local police area (usually Northumbria or Durham) for a firearm certificate so that you can acquire your own firearms if you wish to do so.

Some of our instructors and club officials are former police and armed forces firearms instructors, others have instructor qualifications from the National Shooting Centre in Bisley, Surrey.

For use of centre-fire rifles at distances of up to 1,100 yards please contact our associate club Tyne Valley Rifle Club who shoot at Ponteland and Otterburn military ranges.

*The law requires that anyone under the age of eighteen must be under the supervision of an adult whilst they are handling or using firearms. Our club policy is that all under eighteens are supervised whilst on the premises whether or not they are actually handing firearms. For these reasons anyone under the age of eighteen must join in conjunction with a supervising adult who must undertake the same safety instruction.
